What do I like about Las Vegas you ask? I love that there’s always something to do. Always a show to go see, a great band playing somewhere, amazing new restaurants to try, and it never snows a foot and is -15 degrees. The only reason I’m ever home in Vegas, is because I don’t feel like doing anything. It’s not because there’s nothing to do, as was frequently an issue in Kansas City after living there for almost 30 years.
I also love how diverse the city is. Whatever you like to do, you can find a group of people that share your interest here. My business partner David has a group of Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans he watches the football games with. I found a Kansas City Chiefs bar filled with die hard Chiefs fans from Kansas City that have relocated here. I have Filipino and Laos friends that have found a community of people that celebrate and embrace their culture. No matter where you’re from, you can find a segment of Las Vegas that makes it feel like home.
